Overview

Nanga Parbat, also known as the Killer Peak, is the second-highest peak in Pakistan and the eighth-highest in the world, standing at 8,125 meters. Trekkers can reach the camp in approximately four hours from Fairy Meadows.

Fairy Meadows offers stunning views of a glacier up to the peak, a green open area, and Nanga Parbat. However, it is also the most commercialized location in Pakistan, with higher pricing and a tendency for money-grabbing above hospitality. However, hiking to Nanga Parbat and the surrounding scenery is just amazing.

The base camp trek is highly accessible and suitable for all types of trekkers. It can be done in one day or in two days for those who wish to indulge themselves in the beauty. Access is through a short jeep ride and a gentle walk.
